Hi, I’m Ciara, the founder of NextLevel VA. My journey didn’t start with a big business plan or endless resources, it started with one decision: to take a chance on myself. Back in 2019, I landed my very first job as a Junior Virtual Assistant in the Philippines.
With no industry background and just a strong desire to learn, I poured myself into every task. What began as small admin duties quickly grew into bigger opportunities, and soon I was leading projects and managing a team of designers and developers. Each step gave me the confidence to dream bigger and push past my limits.
But growth doesn’t come without challenges. When I decided to go independent, I made the same mistake many new entrepreneurs make I tried to do everything on my own. At first, I thought saying “yes” to every project would make me successful, but instead, it left me burned out and overwhelmed. Deadlines slipped, clients left, and for a while,
I doubted myself.
Looking back, it was a tough season, but also the turning point. I realized success isn’t about doing it all, it’s about working smart, setting systems, and trusting others. That lesson completely shifted how I worked and how I led.
